Abstract Valgus stability of the elbow joint is mostly provided by the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), which is composed of 3 bundles: anterior, posterior, and transverse. Many surgical techniques for UCL reconstruction have been described since Dr. Jobe's first introduced a technique using a free tendon graft and bone tunnel fixation on both the ulnar and humeral side.
